Hubble Public Talks
Public Lectures at the Space Telescope Science Institute
Are you interested in planets, stars, galaxies, black
holes? Come to the free public lectures at the Space Telescope Science
Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, Maryland. Each month a noted scientist
discusses a different cosmic topic. Lectures are at 8 p.m. the first
Tuesday of every month in the STScI auditorium, on the campus of Johns
Hopkins University. Free parking is available. Here are directions

Astronomy-Related Activities
Residents of and visitors to the Baltimore area can peer
into the heavens with the Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg telescope.
The telescope is open to the public every Friday evening, weather permitting.

addition, the Baltimore Astronomical
Society (BAS), Baltimore's amateur astronomy club, meets the
second Tuesday of every month at the Maryland
